Owner and Director, Leigh Barrett has been delivering inspired outdoor spaces and working in the pool and landscaping industry for over 25 years.

He founded Living Style Co over 14 years ago and has rapidly established an outstanding reputation in high-end residential and commercial markets.

Since that time, Living Style Co’s vision to reconnect people with their outdoor environment has remained at the heart and soul of this dynamic, vibrant and professional company.

Leigh Barrett

Owner - Director

Leigh has been working in the landscaping industry for over 29 years, with 20 years running his own business on the Sunshine Coast, first as a partner in Palmwoods Landscaping and then as founder of Living Style Landscapes in 2009.

Leigh has taken Living Style Co. from its humble beginnings to one of the most award-winning residential landscape companies in Queensland.

Proud to be part of some landmark projects on the Sunshine Coast, from multi-million dollar homes in Noosa, Sunshine Beach and Mooloolaba to the stunning Mary Cairncross Discovery Centre at Maleny.

A highly motivated and respected landscaper, Leigh’s passion not only for his projects but the industry led him to be elected as President of Landscape QLD after becoming a board member for 5 years.

Landscapes - Construction Manager

Since joining Living Style Co 9 years ago, Jono has worked his way up to Construction Manager, overseeing multiple teams in the field. Having worked in landscape construction for over 20 years, 8 of those in the commercial sector, he now specializes in high end residential. His passion is timber, stone, lighting, and bringing it all together with finishing touches.

In his spare time, Jono enjoys camping and fishing and is an essential member of the Living Style team.

Cameron Mccausland

Pool - Construction Manager

Cameron commenced his career in the concrete pool construction industry in 1998 and began working for Living Style Co. after relocating to the Sunshine Coast in 2017.

He is highly experienced, with a passion for building high end complex pools and is excited by pool finishes – especially fully tiled pools and natural stone products. Cameron is always on the lookout for new innovations in the industry such as in-floor cleaning systems, acrylic pool windows and natural freshwater sanitation systems.

Cameron ran his own pool construction business for 10 years in Melbourne working for high end builders, architects and clients in Melbourne’s blue-chip suburbs.

Jon, Trent & Steve

Supervisors – Landscapes

Jon, Trent and Steve are the Living Style Landscapes site supervisors. They have all had extensive experience in high-end residential and commercial fields, including running their own businesses before joining the team.

With over 30 years’ experience between them, their close working relationship with Leigh and Jack ensures the projects are managed in a smooth and seamless manner.

Every year with Living Style Co, they undergo horticultural training to ensure they are up to speed with the ever-growing advancements in the landscaping industry.

With a wealth of knowledge and passion for each of their creations, the landscape supervisory team form great client relationships and take immense pride in their work.

Lee Baxter

Stone - Director

Lee is a second-generation stonemason who has worked in the landscaping and stone industry for nearly 15 years. He brings his wealth of experience, creativity and skill to lead the Living Style Stone team who work primarily on large-scale civil projects.

The craftsmanship and quality of their work is exceptional with each stone creation constructed by hand to ensure a lasting structure that is beautiful and built to stand the test of time.
